They don’t care about the history, the lineage of the rifle, its place in a family. They see the money being “wasted” and freak out over that.
I’m just sick of it. 200 years from now it’s going to be more interesting to ponder about the way these were treated, appreciated, collected, and loved than it will be to look at a pure, unmolested, factory new rifle.
