   @luithe He's too often a bit of a whiny bitch boy that remind people of the weak, effeminate MC trope that we all hate. He has shit tastes in women, considering his rejection of Rem and his brushing off of Beatrice (Emilia a shit. A SHIT! :zt_yell:).
   
   That being said, I like that he honors and loves his parents and wants to let them know he okay, unlike other isekai that essentially go "Fuck you!" to any relatives, friends, and important work in society. I also heard that his character in the LN is better handled than the anime, though I have not read to say for sure myself.
