   Dying in glorious battle after taking a battalion of 211 men against 2000 of the most vicious Apache warriors the Injuns had to offer certainly earned Custer a seat in Valhalla.
   
   Not many (if any) men get the privilege of a heroic death these days.
   
   Along with Lee, Grant, Lyon, Stonewall Jackson and Longstreet I think German American Gen. Armstrong Custer deserves to be venerated as a legend.
