   Having to listen to old boomer at work talk all about how horrible these kids are today because his son refuses to drink and party, he says

   “his friends are just nazi material, they’re the exact kind of guys who threw the switches on the gas chambers. Nazi party enforcers, every one of them, and he doesn’t see it. It’s just disgusting, they’re all so uptight, and when I tell them they’re just using government power for their own purposes just like the leftists, they say “yeah, that’s the point!” Like, where does this nazi shit come from?!?!”

   Can’t afford to make waves with him so I’m relegated to making light prods here and there like “yeah, but if you believe in gun ownership, why can’t you believe in government ownership? You can’t expect to be locked in a room with 5 enemies and a single pistol and expect everyone to uphold a gentleman’s agreement not to reach for it out of principle”

   He just said “no that’s different, because we used to have a good government, the US isn’t like the nazi’s”

   We got sidetracked after that but I suspect there’s more in the pipeline.
