@DW2 Not only the article openly gaslights whites by arguing for Hannah Arendt's and George Mosse's canard that fascism appeared in "insecure societies" under the threat of atomization (which is of course contrasted with progressive societies, implicitly portrayed as stronger by propaganda), not only it lies by blaming social atomization completely on neoliberal capitalism excluding the central role of the socially progressive left, not only the article still finds a way to put non-whites at the center of the discussion as if caring for them was more important, but it's proposed solution is merely to control white men further using even more entrenched bureaucracy. It ticks every single box for progressive dishonesty.
