   These girls often want safety, comfort in their own skin. It’s scary being unsupported, not having the sheltering protection of a man in your life to know he has your back when something goes awry. Girls like tapping into it in a husband, they like gaining his confidence and relaxed nature by being close to him and deriving strength from his companionship. Now that they’re fatherless and alone, they have nothing to draw on to alleviate their instinctual terror - most want to suck up to the imagined tribe and gain protection from them, others like these want to gain the armor and strength of a man (which is only hard-won through nature & experience) by artificially adopting the veneer of masculinity
