   Just thought back to that retard boomer Doug…..uh….”Doug Loves Movies”, the stoner who had that halfhearted game show podcast that redditors used to tell me about all the time.

   Come to think of it, does anyone even listen to podcasts now? Thinking back to work from 2013-2018 there was a consistent rotation of all these garbage shows to fill your ears on the clock, the vast majority were at BEST a 6 out of 10. I haven’t heard a recommendation in forever. I think the successful ones moved into streaming, a more proper show format.

   I would betcha that the majority went tooo overtly political. I quit everything I used to listen to because so many “comedians” would turn it into a kvetch quest. There used to be one that was pretty reliable, and it devolved into some dyke lecturing people on gay appropriate language….at a live comedy show. Another turned their ‘bad movies’ podcast into a 20 min diatribe about marching for gun control (jew in NYC of course).

   I would ALMOST say that the guys who used to recommend that stuff to me have moved on, to what? Who knows. I half suspect a number jumped over to apolitical vtubers. That would explain their lack of recommendations now.
