@caekislove I know it pisses some people off but these companies are out of their minds. In their pasts, they offered a solid, high quality product for a somewhat premium price. Rolexes used to be just barely affordable for GIs willing to splurge, something that was simultaneously fully functional, reliable, and aspirational. Now? Submariners start at a list price of $10k, but good luck getting one without buying a handful of unpopular models so you can jump ahead in the waitlist and pay another $8,000 over sticker.
Who stumps for these faggots at this point? They’re just raking in boomerbux like there’s no tomorrow, abandoning real humans who actually used their products as trustworthy heirlooms and companions. In 1984 you could get a Sub for $1400, or more than 2x that in today’s funny money. How the hell did they get here?
