   People talking about all the dead on mt everest, and there's perhaps something interesting in this metamorphosis:

   > Thousands of yuppies turn his act into an achievable piece of bragging rights, completely strip away the hero's DNA within the climb = it's now pure vanity & braggadocio
   
   > Aged hero, in the twilight of his life, sees his imitators - weaker, less pure of heart - ruin all that he loved about his accomplishment
   
   IDK, it's interesting to me. There's something that's very spiritually disgusting to me about "everest" people today, they have a palpable sliminess that you don't feel from others too often
