   Saw yet another MPV player tweet/meme and, having recently heard a guy at work snicker at my use of VLC, figured there must be something that makes MPV Player the best one around.

   Does it play 12 different media files at the same time, like a collage of security cameras? Does it have built-in captioning on the fly?

   As soon as I read “MPV Player operates from the command line….” I lost all interest because I already know why they all like it. They feel really cool and professional doing everything from the command line.
