   It’s not about the stylization, it’s the fact that it’s made by men, for men in the everlasting pursuit of the muse.

   We’ve been tossing women into every level of management for decades now, and they utterly loathe our idealized image of peak femininity, they don’t see it as aspirational, but condemnatory. When dudes look at pictures like this, we see it as a dream, a tiny possibility of what could be in a perfect world, a woman we could love single-mindedly and pure heartedly.

   Women look at it and see a repudiation of all that they are, an in-your-face insult taunting them saying “ha ha ha you’re NEVER gonna look like this, you’re just inferior“
