   So, there’s an impending lolcow cyclone on the horizon, where the whole “media critique” scene could end up getting shaken apart through a vicious cycle of:

   nig aggressively reacting to mild criticism–>insane fanbase derides critics as “detractors” working in sync to DESTROY a SUCCESSFUL BLACK MAN–> everyone else being even more muted and hands-off about him

   It’s going to be fun, because everyone in the ‘ANTIWOKE’ scene makes their bones about being dedicated to the TRUTH™ above partisanship. They’ve made 10,000 hours of media critique going over every piece of mainstream drivel that’s come out over the last 15 years, and now the long-awaited kickstarter flagship has been released, and it’s about as good as any one of the more forgettable disney pieces. They either have to betray their tastemaker movie critic brand and support his crappy work, or face his thrall’s pitchforks

   Also his women are gross looking
