   Remember when websites didnt need to be super mega ultra encrypted and have 10 layers of java and css and scripts and animations and 500gb of art assets
   
   At some point web devs decided that their skills were important and mattered and they just started making overcomplicated shit so they can push updates every day and pretend they are doing meaningful work that validates their 50,000$ student loans.
