@ryuuji I've not yet found a source on this development, since it seems regarding Fakebook and Fedi related development is that Fakebook is developing its own Activity Pub called the Authenticated Transfer Protocol. This is bundled into something called Bluesky, which is their name for the instance backend. However, it seems to be centralized in some capacity because users can change app settings to target stuff, which... I have no idea how it would be set if not by some central means of moderation. Unless this means independent Bluesky instances would be able to moderate their content by flagging certain things, but you and I know damn well that they would not allow Bluesky instances to operate completely untouchable by the developers.
Seriously, political hate groups is a category. You know what that means :doge_laugh:
So until we get more info on something Activity Pub being bought by Fakebook, this is all I have. @YeetLibs ? Any info? Something only you know or is breaking news?
