@SuperSnekFriend @mimorinka @MasterSimper okay, i have not played the sequel, but let me lay out the story of the first game.
Starkiller isn't related to Vader, Vader kills Starkiller's father and raises him as his apprentice. while there are dissidents, no rebellion has been formed yet, as raising up such an alliance takes time. wishing to root out the dissidents, the ever-scheming Emperor decides to make a fake rebellion; in our words, a glow-op. Vader sends Galen out to raise up an army of rebels under the impression they will distract the Emperor and leave him vulnerable, as he believes the plan is for him and Vader to usurp the Emperor. while raising up the rebels, he has a change of heart and his loyalty turns against the Empire, leading to the final confrontation with the Emperor that forces the Rebellion to take form.
the idea here is that the Emperor, paranoid of being overthrown, inadvertently creates the very rebellion that would defeat him.
