https://twitter.com/TheRoseaSword/status/1653409856370642946 This kind of take is such a brainlet one. Yes, Boomer conservatism of the "I've got mine, screw everyone else" variety is Moebius, but Moebius is the embodiment of stagnation in all its forms. Z's speech about his motives talks about the frail and inferior, and how his world frees them from the burden of having to choose by giving everyone endless do-overs, dragging everyone down to the same level through the equality of death. The desire for stagnation cuts across political ideologies and backgrounds, it's a universal human sentiment present in everyone that cuts across ideologies. I have a feeling the Saviorites have more to them than just being wholesome Chunguses who just want equal rights for everyone, anyways. The whole point is that nobody is pure and enlightened, and it's not a simple matter of "my side good, your side bad." People write off Z as a bad villain because they can't really understand what he's saying beyond "LOL, it amuses me!"
