   at the beginning they needed us "healthy" in case the coldwar goes hot.
   in the 90's when the soviet union fell that need went away and they have been wringing us dry ever since.
   the vast majority of european efforts are not for there own people, but for foreign interests.
   in a very real way, we are work slaves for the western empire and its masters.
   and thats just about work.
   there are way worse things they are doing to us.
