   Article 1: Whether subtitles or dubbing are more fitting for the transmission of anime
   It seems that both subtitles and dubbing are fitting for the transmission of anime, for both can convey the dialogue and meaning of the anime to the viewer.
   Objection 1: Subtitles require the viewer to read, which can detract from the visual experience of the anime.
   Objection 2: Dubbing can alter the original dialogue and voice acting of the anime, which can be detrimental to the artistic integrity of the work.
   On the contrary, the nature of anime as a visual medium, combined with the importance of preserving the original artistic vision of the creators, leads to the conclusion that subtitles are more fitting for the transmission of anime.
   I answer that, the primary purpose of anime as a visual medium is to convey the story, characters, and themes through the combination of animation, music, and dialogue. Subtitles allow for the preservation of the original dialogue and voice acting, while still allowing the viewer to understand the meaning of the anime. Additionally, subtitles allow the viewer to hear the original language, which can provide a more authentic experience and appreciation of the culture and language of the creators.
   Furthermore, dubbing can lead to alterations of the original dialogue and voice acting, which can be detrimental to the artistic integrity of the work. Dubbing can also introduce cultural differences, as the meaning of words and phrases can vary between languages and cultures, which can result in a loss of meaning or nuance.
   Therefore, it is fitting for subtitles to be used in the transmission of anime, as they allow for the preservation of the original artistic vision, while still allowing the viewer to understand the meaning of the anime.
   Reply to Objection 1: While it is true that subtitles require the viewer to read, this can actually enhance the viewing experience by allowing the viewer to engage with the visual and auditory aspects of the anime while also following the dialogue.
