$200 for a last-gen 8-core, $330 for a 6700 XT, it’s honestly a great time to be building a midrange rig.
Entry level is just so-so because once you get under $200 or so the GPU perf/$ starts cratering. High end really sucks because the GPU perf/$ is terrible, DDR5 is still pricey, and so are the motherboards. But if you’re aiming for the midrange (1080p@144Hz+, 1440p@100Hz+, or maybe 4K@60Hz), there are a lot of parts that offer pretty good bang for the buck.
