   Girls say stuff like “boys just aren’t open about their feelings” without realizing that we don’t have the litany of negative sentiments they expect. Guys don’t have to vent as a form of conversational filler.

   Getting home and telling her you were thinking about something in her life, missing her, picking her up and snuggling her is all intimate enough, they just think we have this cistern of resentment deep down that we refuse to tap into with them. Instead, all mine’s happy. Even the ‘bad’ stuff is just cute. Maybe I just remember bachelorhood too much.

   I fully expect to feel the same about my kids - whatever the headaches, it’ll always be an improvement over childfree living. Anyways I forgor what talk bout
