Panel 2: "What People Think AI Will Do" shows a happy non-engineer imagining AI magically hiding the complexity. Panel 3: "What is Actually Going to Happen" shows a sad engineer facing both the old "Pile of Complexity" and a new "Pile of Complexity" (AI pipelines, templates, etc.).
