   If your pet is microchipped *PLEASE* take a quick minute to read!
   
   Save This Life (STL) microchip company has CLOSED DOWN without warning last month. Which means microchips that begin with ▶️ 991 ◀️ OR ▶️ 900164 ◀️ are currently UNREGISTERED.
   
   If your pet is lost, and I find it and scan it's STL chip, it will come back with NO INFORMATION.

   If you are unsure if your pet's chip is compromised, please go see if you can get the chip scanned at a vet or pet store - it can be done for free. You can input that ID number into AAHA's Microchip Lookup to detect the company it is registered with.

   If you do have a Save This Life chip, you'll have to re-register it! BuddyID is offering free registration for STL chips until 2/28/2025. 24PetWatch has free microchip registration. FreePetMicrochipRegistry is also free, as well as 911PetChip. There are also a number of paid registries that have various perks and bonuses as well.
