   @SuperSnekFriend The beginning of Arknights is kinda shit and it seems like the writers weren't sure what they were making until a few chapters in.
   
   As to point 3: The game isn't sure what it wants to be. You can have totally lighthearted events like the last two, the Adele and Sargon one but then have a "super serious" main story that lacks a lot of polish in the beginning. The chemistry between Dokutah and Amiya suffers in the beginning because of this.
   
   They should really try adapting some of the goofy side stories tbh.
