   Here’s a prayer on this special day when we celebrate the birth of Christ our God:
   Grant, we beseech Thee, Almighty God, unto us on whom is largely shed the new light of Thy incarnate Word, that as by faith it enlightens the mind, so also it may shine forth in action. Through Christ our Lord, Who livest and reignest with Thee, in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, forever and ever. Amen.
