Two game-boards side-by side. Both have a collection of coloured squares at the bottom. In the left, pieces fall that are each made of two different-coloured blocks. When four like-coloured blocks touch, they form a Tetris piece which falls on the right-hand board.

   today in "ill-advisedly hard videogame prototypes", i proudly (not that proudly) present "what if there was a game like dr mario and tetris being played at the same time and the blocks you clear in one fall in the other" (working title)

   i've been testing this with one player because that's as many players as are currently in my flat but i strongly suspect it works better as a two-player game. might have to add a button to switch games to it since it's just too frantic controlling both at once at the moment
