Since it's the weekend of many people running many sales, I figured I'd shill some Touhou games on steam if anyone's interested. They're the usual suspects, but they're worth it.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1955830/Touhou_Hero_of_Ice_Fairy/ Hero of Ice Fairy is still dirt cheap, with an added sale that makes it even cheaper. The game just got an update adding a rouge-lite mode with new music and some changes to gameplay for the special mode. Honestly of all the games that came out this year I played, this one's probably my favorite so far. Not really a high bar though.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1584090/Touhou_Mystias_Izakaya/ Mystia's Izakaya is also really cheap, and it's absolutely worth grabbing. DLC 5 released this year, marking the end of DLC for the game. A full experience that will last you quite a while, and very much worth it.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1635980/Kubinashi_Recollection/ It wouldn't be a shill post without Kubinashi Recollection, c'mon. I love this game to death. It's the perfect puzzle platformer. $6 USD is a steal for this.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/2887260/SUPER_ALICE_DOLLS/ Super Alice Dolls is a chaotic mess of a platformer, and I love it. It very much embodies the feeling of doujin games being little one man projects to make something the creator wants to play. It's not currently on sale, but I'd still say it's worth picking up at only $8 USD if you're busy picking up other games.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1684100/HalluciSabbat_of_Koishi/ I've yet to actually play this one myself, so this is a bit of looking towards the future. Halluci-Sabbat of Koishi has tons of wonderful art (including some from BakuP) and was recently finished this year. I am to blast through it in the near future, and enjoy all the painful fights. Also has steam point shop items if you're the kind of person to decorate your profile.
