Urbanart. Three life-size, white, human figures sit next to each other on a bench and display the typical characteristics of smartphone users: Their heads are lowered, their fingers are tapping and swiping, and their faces are illuminated by the screens of their phones. There is a gap on the bench between the first figure (a young woman) and the other two (a young couple) as an invitation to join them. On the Photo, typical Amsterdam houses, water and boats can be seen in the background. Info: The sculpture was made by Karoline Hinz on behalf of the artist Gali May Lucas. The bench stood on the forecourt of the Hermitage Museum during the "Amsterdam Light Festival". The smartphones were illuminated at night. The sculpture can be seen at various locations around the world.
