   @BroDrillard This is why it's funny to see modern panerai try to trot out the military bonafides once in a while. There're whispers of disapproval every time. More than that though, the current company is just some financialized ZOGcorp that came from nothing, bought a brand name that had fallen on hard times, and cheapened out everything it can.

   Modern panerais should cost all of $500 for the average one, maybe $800 with really good lume, or $1200 at most if they're using a real fancy ETA movement. Charging $6,000 for an ugly invicta-ist take on the Egyptian diver watch from 1950 is hyper gay, and they even zogged them down to remove hacking in 2022

   But a nice, clean 3646? Oooh baby
