I don't even put much effort into working any of this crap out anymore, aside from a disinterested "oh cool" or "ugh'. Family is all I trust, the immediate blood relations get my allegiance, and from there, our extended racial family.
There are just too many networks, personalities, teams, tribes, ethnicities, and characters constantly mixing to keep accurate track of friend/enemy in a way that will stand up over time. In order to know an anon is a friend today, you need to have all kinds of internet experience with them to sniff out where they stand, and every year we get another new schism and sorting issue to renew our divisions and add a few more.
Everyone is one take away from being blacklisted, after all, so that green light today will inevitably come back to bite you in the ass. "What the hell man I thought you loved that guy did you see his post yesterday?"
I just can't keep up with the rat race anymore, I'll just keep it all at arms length. It's easier to look at deeper character indications to see whether he's a good influence
