I ran out of stuff to keep the quasimorphosis at bay, but with enough grit (and food), killing the baron that shows up might just be cheaper than clearing the level myself...

I only cleared the first couple of rooms, after that quasimorphosis reached 1000 and everyone else in the level died and spawned a quasimorph. However, there are signs of guards desperately shooting the early breakouts as some of their comrades transformed prior to that.
