So when Franky pulls out Spiritus Domini, Misericordiae Vultus, Fratelli Tutti, or Amoris Laetitia, you cannot "ignore" those teachings as if you had a choice like you were in some Baptist church with another just down the street you could go to in case the current preacher got too uppity about modern Israel or alcohol. You accept the Roman ex cathedra teachings, or else.
