   @pwm @Hoss @anime_outdoor I'm irritated by the podcast mic thing, because it got all the corporate boomers to throw away their blue yetis for "better" equipment that isn't set up right. For all its faults, the yeti and its lookalikes were simple USB mics with self-explanatory knobs, headphone jacks, little LED maps of the pattern

   Chances are just a little better it will give servicable audio on a zoom call....while their Shure is just sitting there in a creaky $12 arm mount picking up every little bonk and thump
