   @AmericanChampion @SuperSnekFriend I've ranted about the "wholesome hentai" phenomenon for a while: I think more than anything, it's a cheap and very demand-driven media, and that's what allows it to gain attention of males (via the sexual content) and smuggle in unexpectedly heartfelt plotlines.

   It's sad that we don't really have any good romance here, but the west has never really been big on the romantic for men. We've piggybacked on rom coms or romantic adventures for a long time.....I guess the only way anyone is making a 210-page book about a lifelong, abiding love is if they can devote a third of it to the MC inseminating a pretty, loving dream woman
