   @icst @mint @Tadano 4 months for the normies to catch on but the creepy tweets were known. It's just when the YT drama commentary community decided to share it and/or found out that Kris/Chris was talking to kids that it blew up. Keep in mind, this exact kind of scandal is what ended DrDisrespect's career and made him get compared to EDP445 (caught in multiple "pedo hunter" stings).
   
   It's 100% a liability to MrBeast and I'm sure Jimmy "knew" to some extent, but was trying to keep it under wraps. By that I mean, finding a replacement for Chris/Krises role, while also dealing with the fact that any firing would be seen as "transphobia" but also dealing with the fact that sponsors were dropping out as a result of it. Jimmy is choosing to stay silent while either forcing him out or Chris deciding to quit as a result.
   
   Jimmy's problem was by building up a brand around himself and his crew while also being as mass market as it is, is that he opened himself and his crew up to mass scrutiny. This is to the point that one of the burgers in the infamous ghost kitchen was named "Chris Style".
   
   And this is exactly what keeps leading to scandals with "kid friendly" YouTubers. Just like Blippi's infamous pooping harlem shake video or the sheer amount of Minecraft YouTubers who keep getting outed as being sex pests, many of them either don't realize or openly take advantage of the position they're in and it bites them in the ass.
   
   The crazy part is, if Chris didn't come out as trans inevitably kicking the hornet's nest, how many people would simply not know about this? And that's the worrying part.
