   Tokodon and Tuba appear to be the only two GUI mastodon/pleroma clients that do not depend on glowcode (javascript/typescript/rust).

   What a surprise they are the only two that can run on old hardware without murdering the CPU.

   Web browsers display HTML documents just fine on old machines, but they begin grinding to a halt if something pulls the pin on modern JavaScript library bomb.

   Makes you wonder what's going on behind the scenes...
