"Well, I do consider the term lolicore as how it's supposed to be. An underground subgenre involving breakcore/speedcore/rave-like genres, dark ambient, noise and all that shit.
I heard this subgenre was supposed to be more of a meme until it eventually started to bloom. I was a toddler back then my nigga, I wish I could have experienced early internet culture and my musical tastes if I was to be a gen y. I try my best to keep up with the tracks and gems I gotta yet discover, the same applies to my motivation to eventually attempt to produce someday. Know one thing. Don't be offended or pulled down at all. Lolicore is shit because it has no limits. You gotta be shit, this shit has potential after all, because you go for what you love to do. If I was to produce, I wouldn't expect, there's no rules set because your mind is supposed to go free while keeping the underground aspect in mind.
However, there's a few things that I personally would still respect no matter what; the use of samples.
Sampling has a shitton of potential especially with the given tools in your studio. You can sample bullshit and still manage to turn it into something outstanding.
But yeah, nobody writes the rules for you however you could read out that I'm a melodic person so some lolicore tracks might not be as appealing as compared to some other tracks.
But that's definitely nothing to judge or complain about, I still value those tracks.
Lolicore makes me stand out from the audience because the audience focuses more on mainstream while my taste is a bit more complicated.
Listening to lolicore is like escaping from reality, because I focus less on my environment but more on the track. You could visualize your hiding place, being on your own, the music expresses your feelings; you're limitless as you escaped from reality. This is a really satisfying feeling and I kinda lack the words to describe it.
Side note;
Keep in mind that the western or some part of the world do reject the music or feel uncomfortable with it simply because of how the subgenre is being addressed as, or the general impression they perceive ( e.g. the samples ). While lolicore ( artists/producers ) are lately gaining more attraction, there's always gonna be the stupid controversy & cancel culture around the fandom.
I expect the people to be pro-lolicon oriented, or at least not bothered by the presence. I'm saying this because there's already a shitton of controversy when defining 'loli', or the anime industry in general. There's always some erotic background/compound lurking. Fuck Twitter, fuck Reddit ( especially r/Lolitary ) and fuck some of the laws, the world is a mixed bag so the audience is pretty much limited. I ain't going over the arguments..because common sense."
