Once Upon A Time In The West.
Another spaghetti western movie that I've seen. The story is on par with The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. It tells a story of a revenge, the soul of Manifest Destiny inside of one man who has TBC, struggle of barbarian men in the age of industrialism, money vs lead, and the tragedy of an evil man near his death in one movie.
The actors are superb at doing their job as their respective roles. There isn't a single character that I hate without ever giving further respect to them. Frank and Cheyenne, despite of their demeanor, are quite likeable. Same with Mr. Morton and Harmonica, both of which are my favorite characters. The heroine here is also quite okay, unlike most women in movies nowadays.
Cinematography is kino as always, just like other western spaghetti movies. It relies on building tension for the fight and done cleverly without CGI. Though the place being shot here isn't as beautiful as the cliffs of South Africa in Zulu, it's enchanting enough for me with 1366x768 monitor to feel like I've lived there.
The music part might not be as memorable as The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. But it's still quite good, especially hearing the theme of Harmonica. I guess I'm going to download the theme later from Youtube and put it in my playlist.
It's a straight 10/10 for me. Totally worth it.
