   I think it's funny they never give a proper explanation as to why the loli ships get made.
   
   In game the shipgirls may have had childhoods according to official art. But the current loli ships were experiments. There's no official explanation as to why certain ships get loli forms.
   
   My running theory (no proof) is that those girls want children so they secretly petition a loli ship to get made.
