Before changing the config, GNOME Boxes is NOT allowed to run in the background.

   @jorge I "found" a thing that makes #GNOME Boxes more reliable: You need to allow it to run in the background.

   I have heard about a new background utility for GNOME, but in my old #Debian GNOME, this can be done in Settings > Applications > Boxes.
