   The whole Free Fur All drama that I keep seeing pop up here or there is exactly why you'll never see anyone in that scene even try to stand up against the Zeitgeist.
   
   First of all, the furry fandom is essentially "Mutually Aided Blackmail". Everyone prides each other on being weird and not giving a fuck about what you are into, until you're not cool with them and then it's drama fuel.
   
   As a result of this no furry (except for one who came into the fandom last week) is kosher, and even then what said person did before the fandom will act as drama fuel. And with furries, there's never any drama that's too minor. It's always some retarded shit like "why the fuck did you talk to this pedo zoophile" (and 9 times out of 10 those words are as overused as they are in hellthreads here).
   
   Furries are also hyper tuned into drama, drama spreads far and wide among furries as chats turn into shit talking each other, be it in public chats or behind closed doors/in lower profile chats, where they shit openly on people they hate as a sport. Drama spreads far and wide, and it's an open secret that every website that has heavily shat on the fandom was either run by furries, or had massive amounts of furry posters signing up to drop dirt on other furries.
   
   As a result, the fandom is really great at harassing the shit out of and banning people from chats for being in the wrong chat. But most importantly, either because they're naive to the true nature of the fandom or have no filter, a lot of groups opposing the mainstream end up opening far up wide to anyone like goatse, and inevitably the different factions of outcasts join (some of who are sex pests). Eventually they fight or their enemies use them as ammo, while bystanders join in and get labeled as shit like pedophiles.
   
   Which means that if you're going to stand up against the big names in the scene, you'd better go big or go home, because if you fail well you'll be a struggle artist whining like Wings that nobody will give you money. The only way you can do so is to pander to those outside the fandom, and they won't know that you were drawing furry Tarrant 5 years ago.
