   People have been saying this would happen for years, Russia's strategy is has and always been a brutal war of attrition, one they usually win because they have the numbers to keep it going, Ukraine was bound to break eventually, all those NATO weapons only stemmed the bleeding.

   this is from a month ago. They were complaining about a lack of machinery and concrete to build these new trench lines
