   one of the first things I ever saw from tate was something he wrote about how he almost got stabbed on the street and how terrified it made him, how he'd lose sleep over it and stuff
   
   one of the other things I saw around the same time was him bragging about going into bars in foreign countries and taking their women because the guys were too weak to do anything about it
   
   so mr. alpha macho fighter man is simultaneously the biggest badass on earth, and wets himself when someone takes a poke at him with a paring knife because he has no idea how to handle violence outside the artificial, controlled environment of a sanctioned fight
