   @DW2 As a millennial we're basically boomers for the 3rd generation, in case nobody's noticed. Early boomers and those elder Gen X people are the first boomers, but many of us are in the same boat:

   Millennials were born into the tail end of the good years, the prosperity years. We'll hear future kids yell at us that we'd never understand because we got to date and go out in public without protective escorts of nigger-curfews. They'll say WE were the last ones to plunder the golden age - and despite how it'll feel to us, they'll largely be right. If you were paying attention, you got to see just a bit of that old world right before it disappeared for good. You got to see what life was like when everyone had to leave a message on their friend's home answering machine and record their favorite show on VCR.

   Kids from here on out won't even get THAT. They'll go from birth in the post-zogslop AI hellscape, never knowing the peace of a life utterly absent of notifications
