   The game takes place 10 years after the first, spoils the ending of it, makes all the girls leave you, treats the MC like shit, and retcons a ton of shit like some villain deaths. People hated it because it's a betrayal of the first game's fanbase because of the way it treats the player and the stort established by the first game. Not to mention how antagonistic the company is being towards players.
