This is usually written as something like "World Jewish Encyclopedia" but "Jewish World Almanacs" is new to me. There is no such publication. There is a "World Almanac" and it contains some figures like you have indirectly cited, but that image is at least four hops away from the primary source.

You ever look at the actual table you're citing, you goddamn shaved ape? It was a projection that they'd increased by a fixed percentage every year (not even dented by the few hundred thousand that fled in the later part of the 1930s). The figure wasn't updated with real data after 1929, which is why they carefully cherry-pick the data and cite the 1948 figure. You wouldn't know a primary source if it got in line to join all the other guys runing a train on your mom the day before rent's due, even if it was your turn to fluff.
