Leveling at the breakneck speed of a nursing home patient - oh joy.

JUST hit Level 23... for a more strength-oriented build, this would probably suffice for taking down the DragonLord, but that's not how this build is going, so I have to keep leveling - if I could just hit 24, I could potentially get out of Charlock and start relying on Metal Slimes... even then, it wouldn't be fully reliable.
Fun Fact: Naming your hero "Sugiyama" nets you a build that favors Agility and Max MP for long-term stat gains, with a short-term gain modifier of 1... which is actually the same thing you get with "Alef" - essentially another "hard mode" name. Agility influences your Defense Power, but given how awkwardly that particular stat calculation is handled in this version, you probably won't see much benefit out of it until you're VERY high level. Having a lot of MP to play with is the real strong-point here, especially if you have top-class spells like Healmore and Hurtmore, but the levels you have to reach to even GET those spells means you're gonna spend much of the game underpowered (which becomes apparent once you start making shots at bosses).
