   i remember a fair bit of clannad after all these years because it was top 10.
   from what i recall nothing happens in kanon (in a good way)
   same in angelbeats (in a bad way)
   and i dropped charlotte.
   
   could be worth trying the VN's, i loved the little busters VN.
   and never heard about Rewrite or Summer Pockets but they're super well rated
