   In 1959, Rockwell founded the World Union of Free Enterprise National Socialists, later renamed to the American Nazi Party, and eventually the National Socialist White People's Party.
   The following year (one year before retirement) he was discharged from the Navy for his politics.
   In response he gave several large speeches and rallies.
   He was going to have a rally in New York City, but the jewish mayor refused to grant him a loicense
   So he sued, and when he emerged from the courthouse a jewish reporter started interviewing him, and then, in his impotent rage, attacked Rockwell. (He was never punished for this)
   Eventually Rockwell did win the permit many months after the event was supposed to happen
   Funilly enough, the ACLU was on his side and helped him win.
   So he did hold a rally that summer in new york, but a bunch of jews attacked them
   And much like events today, the victim is blamed and the police sent Rockwell to a psychiatric hospital for a month.
   But he was found sane & normal & released in less than two weeks
   He thought it was pretty funny and published a pamphlet called "How to get out or stay out of the insane asylum"
