   Bushnell's courageous act was in protest against U.S. complicity in the genocide in Gaza

   His friend, Levi Pierpont, says Bushnell -- "a really sweet person with a strong sense of justice" -- would not have described his act as a "suicide", but as a strong message to help end the genocide.
