   The biggest enemy to any sort of political activism in the USA (besides controlled opposition like DeSantis and picrel) is when groups turn into shitshows like the DemSoc convention, like pretty much so many of the wignat groups have.
   
   Everyone memed the shit out of the DemSoc convention in 2019 for being a pure comedy goldmine, but the truth is, if most of the people in the online right managed to hold a convention somewhere it would be just as cringeworthy.
